Making the most of your advertiser Mini Web Profile Page
Your Mini Web Profile Page is designed to be as flexible as you need it to be. If you have your own website then your Profile Page will act as a sign post with a hyperlink allowing customers to click through to your main website. Use aspirationalfurniture.co.uk to showcase your best pieces, provide a brief history of your company and products – entice potential customers to look at you further. If you are having a sale, launching a limited edition range, or need to sell a piece that someone may have ordered then cancelled, it’s quick and easy to upload new copy and photos to tell the internet audience about it.
If you spend all your time creating beautiful furniture or are just too busy running the business and haven’t yet had time to commission your our web site, allowing us to host your Mini Web Profile Page is an ideal opportunity to increase your visibility to a wider audience. Potential buyers can see the type of work you produce and can contact you by email directly from our site or telephone you to discuss their project ideas.
All logos, adverts and photos should be a “jpg” type file or an error message will appear when you try to upload them.
Converting an image to a “jpg” file is a relatively simple task; generally all you need to do is save the image using the “save as” function then select ‘jpeg’ from the drop down menu. If all else fails contact us by email and we will do our best to help!
Upload your logo photo/image first as this will appear next to your details in our browse and search results page. Make sure that this does not contain small or fine type as this is not easy to read on web pages.
The minimum width of the image should 150 pixels and the height should be no more than 1.33 times the size of width. Therefore on an image width of 150 pixels, the maximum height is 199 pixels.
If you do not have a digital image of your logo or letterhead design we can email you a file of your company name on either a green or brown background. This file will be supplied free of charge providing you accept our standard format; any other requests will incur a small cost (please contact us for details).
A further four images can then be uploaded to your Profile Page – these can be either photos or advertisements as shown in this example of a mini web page. To optimise the use of these image slots it is better to use portrait photos and tall slim adverts. Here again the minimum “jpg” width is 150 pixels but for these images the height can be up to three times the width. So, on an image width of 150 pixels the height can be up to 450 pixels.
Remember if you upload something and it does not provide you with the right look – just upload another photo or image.
We have tried to show you examples of what images can be displayed but remember the most important point is that they can be changed as often as you wish along with your copy text. For example, if you are going to be exhibiting in a show in the coming months or you are planning an open day it’s quick and easy to let potential customers know.
Also remember that we may include your special event in our newsletter which goes out to those visitors who have asked to be kept informed of what is happening in the bespoke furniture industry.
